Let God control your mind (Romans 12:2)

Dear believers,

Too often we are bogged down by the worries of life and sometimes are unable to pray or persevere.  God created us to have an abundant life and He promises to be with us always. Ask yourself a question: can I change my situation by worrying about it or should I pursue a different way of dealing with it? As Christians, we must remember that our thoughts and mind belong to God and we must allow the Holy Spirit to penetrate our inner being.  Romans 12:2 reminds us: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."  The key factor to recall is the "renewing of our minds" and this way, we will be able to hear from God who will dictate and tailor our thoughts. Whether you are sick, facing financial hardships, grieving, or worrying about your circumstances, meditate on His word and give Him room to enter your body, mind, and soul. Through the power of God through Chris Jesus, we will be transformed and the Comforter--the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. Stay encouraged.
